"is your red the same as my red?"

If someone who has never seen the color red asked you to explain it to them, could you? If not, then how can you be sure that when other people tell you they see red see it the same way you do? Part visual curiosity, part philosophical enquiry - the ONE RED explores and challenges our own individual taste and understanding through the use of color.

What we have come to accept as universal symbols are often the products of our own imagination that is heavily influenced by the circumstances and culture we were raised in. Perhaps, our propensity for polarization could benefit from knowing this.
