The first backpack we designed and is based on the premise that function dictates form.
The V-shape that is accentuated with a sudden cut-off was influenced by the natural broadening of the human body and the way we pack. The harder to reach area at the bottom was made narrower, while the top was made wider and left open for quick and easy access. The first version served as an important reference point for subsequent designs and constructions

A follow-up to our first backpack, which focuses on the desires of those who prefer less distinctive shapes.
Every object can tell its own unique story. Some can project excitement and thrill, others - strictness and order. The Two is special for neither of those projections, but rather, for the lack of any of them. The symmetrical trapezoid top and bottom makes the overall form complete without any specific part fighting for your attention. It restrains from a particular direction and sits quietly in the middle like a blank canvas waiting for the wearer to mold it in their own way. Free from allegiance and disposition.

As a successor to the ONE and TWO, the aim of its design was to satisfy the desires of those who’s daily life requires a more professional look. But as the design progressed, the goal shifted towards the desires of active professionals.
Formality and professionalism are associated with straight lines, rigidness, and immaculateness, which the dome lid enclosure with a back facing zipper helps to achieve both visually and constructaly. In 2018 the THREE became the only backpack with a separate shoe compartment, which allowed us to classify it as an active bag. As a result, the bigger focus on active lifestyles influenced the a major change in its initial design. Although, the pursuit of balance has taken the design back to its more professionally friendly roots since then.
2019 | 3.2 | Reintroduction of the classic THREE shape that puts more emphasis on balancing the professional and active desires. Laptop compartment moved inside with an addition of a document sleeve. A new top opening design that includes a drop-in pocket.
2018 | 3.1 | Transition to the active category. Major changes in its layout. The new defining feature is a wide opening to the main compartment. New strap and handle design.

Our take on the classic rolltop backpack design.
The enhanced weatherproof properties and the expandable nature of this bag has made it a favourite among cyclists. However, the rolltop has gained mainstream success and has become an iconic style piece that goes beyond functionality. With this design we pay tribute to the classic by retaining its functional nature - a sternum strap, a bike light loop, a magnetic quick release buckle, and a quick access zipper to the main compartment. At the same time, we embraced its newfound street-casual status with a clean appearance, laptop compartment, and ability to remove the sternum strap.

The Invisible Carry-on is a result of a 2017 collaborative design project between OPPOSETHIS and other fellow travellers. The aim - simplifying air travel.
The first step of simplification was to make this bag easy to pack, have enough room within the check-in limit, and be security checkpoint friendly. The second step was adding a contracting/expanding feature. This allows the Invisible Carry-on to be used as a somewhat-regular backpack once you arrive and eliminates the need to bring an additional smaller bag.
Ironically, a design with so many requirements was facing the same “complexity” problem it was trying to solve. To eliminate the scope creep we narrowed our focus on short city-break type trips. This made the Carry-on more compact and suitable for using as a regular daily bag, which aligns with the ethos of single-bag travel.
2019 | C1.1 | Overall size reduction and removal of expanding feature in favor of a more manageable size for short trips and overall daily use. Improved front pocket usability. Separate laptop compartment with additional document sleeve moved to the side.
